Pittsville Scores 6 in the 7th to Stay Unbeaten, Down Rosholt.

Pittsville was held scoreless until the sixth inning and then needed a 6-run top of the 7th to get a big road win in Rosholt 7-4 to stay undefeated on the season.

In the 6th, Logan Zickert would walk, then advance to 3rd on a throwing error on a pickoff play. Then Dawson Luther would hit a sacrifice fly to center. Zickert would score.

The 7th would start with Braden Friday reaching on an error, then after a groundout moved him to 2nd and a hit by pitch put Grant Rademan on. Ben Friday would double to center, scoring Friday, making it 4-2.

Derek Grossman would then single in Rademan and Ben Friday, tying the game at 4.

Jake Hardinger would reach on an error. Then after a strikeout, Pittsville took the lead on a Dawson Luther that scored Grossman and Hardinger.

Pittsville would get one more insurance run when Brad Neve would single to center, scoring Dawson Luther.

Dawson Luther would get the start for Pittsville, he would go 4 innings, giving up 3 runs, all earned, on 5 hits, 4 walks, and 5 strikeouts. Ben Friday would get the win going the final 3 innings, giving up the 1 earned run, on 3 hits, 1 walk, and 5 strikeouts.

Thomas Lemanczyk would get the start for Rosholt, going 6.2 innings, giving up 7 runs, only 2 earned, on 6 hits, 1 walk, and 7 strikeouts. M Ostrowski would pitch the final third of an inning.

Pittsville moves to 12-0, 5-0 in the CWC-South. They next host Greenwood on Friday.

Rosholt drops to 5-6, 3-2 in the CWC-South. They next host Iola-Scandinavia on Friday.
