Wausau Cyclones select two Wisconsin natives in NA3HL Draft

(Wausau, WI) – The Wausau Cyclones participated in the 2024 NA3HL Draft today as they build their roster for the 2024-25 season. Wausau selected forward Landon Bechtolt from Centerville, Ohio with their 1st round pick, 30th overall. In the 3rd round Wausau selected defenseman Dylan Bryne who comes to Wausau from Eau Claire Memorial. Closing out the draft the Cyclones took forward Mason Johnson from Chippewa Falls high school.

Last season Bechtolt scored 16 goals and had 19 assists in 46 games. Dylan Bryne netted 15 goals and contributed 18 assists in 23 games during the 2023-24 season campaign. Mason Johnson scored 21 goals and had 25 assists in 24 games last season.

Dylan Bryne was named to the All State First Team during the 2023-24 season as voted by the WCHA. Mason Johnson was named to the All State Second Team during his senior season.
