The Stratford Tigers won their WIAA record 10th State title, 3rd in a row, with a 21-6 win over Wrightstown.

Stratford’s 10th title moves them one ahead of St. Mary’s Springs and Edgar.

After a scoreless first quarter, Stratford would score first with a 13 play 91 yard drive, that would be capped with a 8 yard touchdown run by Jack Tubbs. Mason Miller would hit the extra point, making it 7-0.

Wrightstown would respond later in the quarter with a 61 yard touchdown run from Trevor Vande Hey, Daniel Buntin would miss the extra point.

On their next possession, Stratford would respond with another long drive, and Tubbs would connect with Coltan Breit for a 4 yard touchdown. Miller would again add the extra point.

Stratford would take the opening kickoff of the second half and go on a 9 play, 73 yard drive, and Brooks Vanderhoof would run it in from 1 yard out, Miller would make the extra point, giving Stratford the 21-6 lead.

Wrightstown would put together some long drives, but the Stratford defense found stops when they needed them.

The Tigers were led by Jack Tubbs who went a perfect 5-5 for 31 yards and a TD, he also ran the ball 15 times for 94 yards and a TD.

Brooks Vanderhoof would lead the way on the ground, running the ball 24 times for 137 yards and a TD.

Wrightstown was led by Trevor Vande Hey who was 5-11 for 80 yards and 2 INT passing, he also ran the ball 15 times for 83 yards and a TD.

Aiden Humphreys added 43 yards on 10 carries.
