Almond-Bancroft 34, Pittsville 7
Almond-Bancroft put the game away with a 20-point fourth quarter as it defeated Pittsville 34-7 on Friday.
Pittsville had drawn within 14-7 early in the fourth period on a touchdown by Beau Merritt, but Almond-Bancroft responded on the ensuing kickoff with an 89-yard return for a touchdown by Lukas. Jackson Beggs rushed for the final two touchdowns. Beggs rushed for 118 yards, and Merritt had 110 on the ground.
