The top teams from last year should remain near the top (Mosinee, Lakeland, Rhinelander). I believe the bottom of the standings will be evenly matched throughout the season and it should remain competitive.Keys to your success this season:Playing fast and hard every shift and winning every battle. Finding and creating open space by moving the legs will help puck movement down the ice. Making good passes and catching them will jumpstart a play. Out working and skating the opponent will allow us to succeed.Behind the scenes: Who are some of the people that help your program succeed?
Galen Searles (head coach last year, volunteer coach this year), Boys Hockey Booster Club, and Parents. Big thank you to all those folks who help out as we navigate through the season.Coach’s comments: anything else you’d like to share?Low numbers with only 15 total players. Out of the 15, we have a brand new skater and a goalie, leaving us with 13 skaters. This season will need everybody on the team to be contributing. Effort and passion will be something the team will learn to lean on as the season progresses. The team is very hard-working and eager to learn and play. I am really looking forward to this season and so are the players. They have been working hard so far and have been improving each day and starting to gain confidence in themselves and their teammates. This season will be exciting and I can’t wait for the team to be able to showcase what they can do!
