Coaching staff:
Head Coach: Reed Lehman
Assistant Coaches: Chris Poeschel, Jason Kurth, Nathan Schmidt, Tom Bieneck, Michael Gaier, and Jamie Boyer
Key returners:
We have many key returners this year, as we return almost all of our skill position players on both sides of the ball. We return Bryce Erickson who is going into his 3rd year as our starting quarterback, Ashten Schultz and Braylon Boyer as Receivers and Defensive Backs, Jace Pekol and Micah Zoschke going into their 4th years starting for us on defense, Gunnar Barth as a running back and defensive player, and Reese McDonald, Austin Gross, and Max Kreitlow as offensive linemen this year.
Key newcomers:
Some of our key newcomers for this season will be Gavin Barth at tight end and defensive back, Andrew Hoeser at tight end, Wesley Swita as a guy who can play multiple positions for us on both sides of the ball, and Aydin Sternitzky getting his chance to be a two-way guy for us this year on the line.
Conference outlook:
I view the Cloverbelt as one of the toughest small school conferences in Wisconsin, and I think this year will be no different. Regis is the team to beat this year, and then after that I think just about anyone in the conference can compete for the rest of the top spots. Mondovi will probably be going into the season with a ton of confidence after a State Runner-Up finish last year, and Fall Creek, Stanley-Boyd, Elk Mound, Durand, and us could all finish in the top couple of spots this year as well. It should be a very competitive conference with a lot of close games this year.
Keys to your success this season:
The number one key to our success this season will be staying healthy, as we do not have a lot of depth behind our starters this year. Other than that, it will be taking care of the football and being able to maintain our confidence even if things start to go poorly in a game.
