Conference Outlook
As long as Gilman and OW have football programs they will be fundamentally sound and mentally tough players. Athens plays hard every whistle and Lincoln and Greenwood are ready to bounce back. We have to come to play everyday to have a chance in this sledgehammer conference.
Keys to success this season:
We have to find continuity early. A lot of experience but playing new positions. Focus on the rep at hand and play our style of football.
Behind the scenes:
We have a great support staff from parents to administration. We have people who truly support our young men and want to see them succeed.
Coach’s comments:
It’s been 13 years since our school has played a playoff game. After two years where we would have qualified we have a huge amount of motivation going into this year. Our 3 losses the last 2 seasons have come at the hands of teams ranked no lower than #3 in the state. We have put in the work to give us a chance each Friday,
