Coaching staff:
Head Coach: Connor Handrick (9 Total Years in the Program, 4 Years JV Head Coach, 5 Years Varsity Head Coach)
Varsity Assistant: Mitch Mueller (3 Years)
JV Head Coach/Varsity Assistant: Brock Handrick (2 Years)

We are returning 100% of our pitching and 75% of our Starters.

Key newcomers:
We are replacing 3 starters in the lineup from last year’s state semifinalist team. We have a great group of underclassmen and some seniors that will assist in filling those open spots in our lineup. It will be key for some of these guys to step up and firmly earn a spot in the starting lineup but I know they are up for the challenge!

Conference outlook:
Competing in the Marawood South is never an easy task but is a great challenge that only prepares you for the playoffs at the end of the year. After taking fourth in the conference last year, we are know we can compete with the top teams in the conference. Starting the year off right is key to competing in the conference. We know that great pitching and putting the ball in play will keep us competitive in every conference game. Finding a way to close out close games and get those big wins will be key in us competing for our 2nd ever Marawood conference title.
Keys to your success this season:
1-0. We stress the importance of focusing on one game at a time, if we go 1-0 each day we give ourselves a shot to accomplish all the goals we have set forth for the season. After coming up short in the State Semifinals last year it has our guys hungrier then ever for a shot at Edgar’s first state championship in school history. I know we have the ability to compete in every game with our pitching, the question this year will be can our bats be good enough to go win big games! We are excited for the opportunity in front of us this season and I know our guys will come to work each day to improve and put us in the best positions to reach our goals at the end of the season
