Coaching staff: Evan Krebsbach Varsity HC, Cheryl Schreiner Varsity assistant coach, Kirstin christenson JV coach, Jody Davis JV2 coach.
Key returners: libero Kaitlynn Hartnady Marawood South Libero of the year First Team Unanimous. Emery Borchardt (3rd year starter), Addyson Nowak (2nd year starter), Ella Baumgartner (2nd year starter.)
Key newcomers: Makita and Naquene Ellenbecker, Brandie Halverson, Chloe Mellenberger
Conference outlook: marawood south has been known as a dangerous conference of slugfest, i don’t expect anything different , i think every coach and program have their own styles of play that expose weaknesses, my outlook in the conference is NO off nights and anyone can take the match on any given night . we’re going to prepare for a 4-5 set match every night and give every team their deserved respect .
Keys to your success this season:our keys to success is the work that’s put in . It’s the compound interest that’s collected and built up in practice and in between games. If we treat every day like a gold medal match , the outcome will be incredible. We as a program are looking strong , I think consistency over flash wins the battle so that is what i’m expecting and preparing for every day. show up , hold yourself accountable, work to be your best self, and at the end of the day be hungry to grow tomorrow. My girls are mighty, I’m excited to respect that and push hard to fulfill their potential . Go Cats
