2025 OnFocus Season Preview: Medford Raiders Softball
Varsity coaches: Virgil Berndt, Ron Fisk, and Justin Hraby
JV: Amanda Lange, Ashley McCarron, Ally Zuleger
Key Returners: Rylee Hraby P, Finley Arndt SS-CF, Zayleah Leonhardt C, Tori Konieczny 1B, Chelsea Gebauer LF-3B, Addison Brahmer OF, Laney Hraby 2B, Ruthie Sreinman.
Others looking to play a bigger role this year: Kailyn Haenel P, Ava Hartl OF, Joie Steliga IF-OF, Grace Schmidtfranz OF, Kayla Baumgartner SS.
All 13 girls are returning letter winners. Most of them can play multiple positions.
Mosinee would have to be the favorite in the conference. Lakeland is tough with Timmerman. Antigo will have a good squad. I believe we will compete with all of them and should be there in the end.
Keys: We have a lot of experience returning. Last year we proved we could play with anyone. Lost some games we shouldn’t have. This year we are looking at putting it together and finish games. We need to put teams away and not let games slip away.
