OnFocus – Malcolm McGregor, a 4 year-old in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, was recently sworn in as an honorary member of local enforcement. Malcolm, who is battling Stage IV High Risk Neuroblastoma, also received a special police escort, a swearing in ceremony, and even got to send the K9 unit after a bad guy.

“I’m the luckiest kid ever!” Malcolm said of the experience.

Malcolm was sworn in on October 10, 2020 to the Wood County Sheriff’s Department, Portage County Sheriff’s Department, and Grand Rapids Police Department.

“There’s NOTHING Malcolm can’t do!” wrote Wood County Sheriff’s Department. “On his first day on the job, Malcolm was already working in the K-9 unit! Don’t let his size fool you, this young man has enough fight in him for all of us! Malcolm is also our Department’s only Superhero! Welcome aboard Malcolm, you’re an inspiration to us all!”
