At 106, Luke Dux of NGL won his quarterfinal match by decision 6-4 over Parker Heintz of Lodi. Dux lost his semifinal match to Rhett Koening of Prairie Du Chien by decision 6-4, Dux will face Easton Worachek of Luxemburg-Casco on Saturday Morning.
At 120, Treyton Ackman of Spencer/Columbus is still alive, Ackman lost his quarterfinal match to Kaleb Mannel of Waupaca by decision 8-3. Ackman then won his consolation round match by fall over Taedon Nichols of Luck/Fredric/Grantsburg/Siren. Ackman will wrestle Chandler Curtis of Lodi Saturday Morning.
At 220, Gunner Hoffman of NGL lost his Quarterfinal match by fall to Nick Roller of Antigo. Hoffman then won his consolation match by fall over Colten Wall of Prairie du Chien. Hoffman will face Marcus Orlandoni of N. Fond du Lac/St Mary’s Springs Saturday Morning.
Also at 220, Jake Rau of Medford advanced to the championship match. Rau took down Mac Strand of Xavier by fall, then took down Marcus Orlandoni by decision 5-3. Rau will face Nick Roller of Antigo in the championship match.
Division 3
At 106, Peter Esser of Pittsville is still alive in the tournament. Esser won his quarterfinal match by decision 7-5 over Mark Szombathelyi of Random Lake. Esser then lost his semifinal match to Brayden Sonnentag of Cadott by major decision 8-0. Esser will wrestle Mitch Anderson of Clear Lake Saturday Morning.
At 113, Karter Stuttgen of Stratford is still alive in the tournament after losing his quarterfinal match by fall to Troy Dolphin of Kenosha Christian Life. Stuttgen then won his consolation bracket match against Dominic Leintz of Clear Lake by decision 11-5.
At 126, Gavin Draxler of Stratford advanced to the championship match. Draxler took down Julian Springgle of Cochrane-Fountain City by fall, then took down Javis Pinter of Kenosha Christian Life by major decision 11-3. He will wrestle for a state championship at around 5:30 tomorrow afternoon against Bo Niewiadomaski of Rosholt.
At 132, Max Schwabe of Stratford advanced to the championship match. Schwabe took down Joseph Penchi of La Crosse Aquinas by major decision 9-1, then took down Zach Foley of Cochrane-Fountain City by sudden victory 3-0. Schwabe will face Alex Birchman of Fennimore in the championship match at about 5:30 PM on Saturday.
At 138, Dylan Baird of Auburndale advanced to the championship match. Baird downed Elijah Lucio of Stratford by decision 6-3, before winning again by decision 11-6 over Aiden Brosinksi of De Soto. Baird will face Karson Casper of Coleman in the championship match on Saturday at about 5:30 PM.
Lucio then lost his consolation bracket match to Max Sokolski of Bonduel by decision 5-2.
At 152, Jacob Heiden of Stratford is still alive in the tournament, Heiden won his quarterfinal match by major decision 11-0 over Logan Schneider of Lancaster. Heiden then lost his semifinal match to Aiden Vanderbush of Random Lake by technical fall, Heiden will face Korben Brown of Parkview on Saturday Morning.
At 160, Devin Dennee of Stratford is still alive in the tournament. Dennee won his quarterfinal match by fall over Sawyer DeRuyter of Cedar Grove-Belgium, the lost to Noal Springer of Mineral Point by decision 8-5. Dennee will face Tyler Lovejoy of Laconia on Saturday Morning.
At 195, Trevor Dennee of Stratfor advanced to the championship match. Dennee took down Sam Galoff of Brillion by fall, then beat Isaac Banker of Bonduel by fall. Dennee will face Shamus Mclain of Coleman in the championship match.
At 220 Ethan Heil of Edgar advanced to the championship match. Heil took down Dylan Nottestad of Westby by fall, then won over Cole Ebert of Reedsville by major decision 11-2. Heil will face Aaron Ragles of Fennimore in the championship match at about 5:30 PM.
Consolation round matches will be played in the morning with championship matches starting at about 5:30 PM
