Slippery travel conditions could develop in central Wisconsin late
tonight as snow begins to overspread the area from the southwest.
Wednesday through Monday
Hazardous travel conditions are expected across the entire area
Wednesday into Wednesday night due to snow. Two to four inches of
snow is expected in the Fox Valley and lakeshore areas, where
some freezing drizzle is also possible Wednesday afternoon and
evening. Four to six inches of snow is likely across central,
north-central, and far northeast Wisconsin.
A strong storm system could bring a significant round of wintry
precipitation to the area Saturday and Sunday. The storm has the
potential to produce significant travel disruptions across the
Upper Great Lakes region, so anyone with travel plans this weekend
should closely monitor later forecasts.
