Abbotsford/Colby Baseball avenged Tuesday’s loss with an 11-3 win over Rib Lake as the teams split the season series.
Abby/Colby was led at the plate by Evan Reis who went 2-3 with a triple, 2 RBI, and 2 runs scored. Nano Lopez went 2-3 with a double and 2 RBI. JV Castillo and Blake Bargander each went 2-3 with an RBI.
Rib Lake was led at the plate by Dominic Quednow who went 1-3 with a triple and 2 RBI.
Reis would get the win for Abby/Colby going 4.2 innings, giving up 3 runs, two earned, on 3 hits, 3 walks, and 9 strikeouts. Castillo would go the next 1.2 innings giving up 0 runs and 0 hits while striking out 3. Carlos Lara would get the final 2 outs, striking out 1.
Talon Scheithauer would take the loss, he went 2.2 innings, giving up 10 runs, only 4 earned, on 6 hits, 6 walks, and 2 strikeouts. Andrew Wudi would go the next 2.1 innings, giving up 1 earned run on 3 hits and 1 strikeout. Ethan Cook would go the final inning giving up just a walk.
Abbotsford/Colby moves to 9-4, 5-1 in the Marawood North, they next host Edgar on Friday.
