Marshfield (OnFocus) – The Wisconsin Department of Health is reporting an increase in local COVID-19 cases, with Wood County now at 23 total positive cases, Marathon County at 82 cases, and Clark County at 51 cases. This includes active, recovered, and deceased cases.(Find the full data here.)
As of Friday, Wood County had reported 16 positive cases, with 9 people having recovered and 1 deceased.
Marathon County Health Department reports today:
– 82 confirmed positive (no change from yesterday)
– 4,705 confirmed negative (up 7 from yesterday)
– 1 resident death
– 50 recovered (no change from yesterday). “Recovered” is defined as one or more of the following by WI DHS: symptoms are resolved, released from isolation, and 30 days since symptom onset or diagnosis.
– 13 residents ever hospitalized
The State Health Department reminds that anyone with symptoms can now be tested.
“If you have any symptoms or think you’ve been exposed, call your provider or log on to find a community testing site: dhs.wisconsin.gov/testing,” they said.
