MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – The Marshfield Police Department is currently responding to a situation in the Walmart parking lot.
12:10 p.m. update: The suspect was taken into custody without incident. Units are leaving the scene.
There has been a perimeter established by law enforcement officers and the S.W.A.T. team is on standby. At this time, there is no known risk to the public.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Department, Marathon County Sheriff’s Department, Marshfield Fire and Ambulance, and other departments are also on-scene.
The situation has been resolved and officers are investigating the incident.
