Owner and Chef Syed Moizuddin Ahmed, with 19 years of experience in the hospitality industry, brings a unique blend of tradition and innovation to the local dining scene.

With a background in hotel management and extensive experience as a General Manager in various regions of Asia and the Middle East, Ahmed embarked on a new adventure in the United States in 2019.

“I wholeheartedly welcome you all to our restaurant Al Madinah,” says Chef Syed. “Our specialized cuisine offers a unique culinary experience that combines rich, authentic, and diverse flavors.”

Al Madinah Cuisine stands out as an Indian restaurant with a focus on Hyderabad’s culinary heritage. Ahmed and his team meticulously craft spices from scratch, ensuring a burst of freshness in every dish. Committed to adding more flavors and incorporating vibrant, traditional colors into their culinary creations, Al Madinah serves an array of delicious and visually appealing dishes.

Ahmed faced hurdles in sourcing authentic Halal meat, requiring a three-hour drive to Milwaukee for procurement. However, the local community’s warm reception, with around 2,000 customers on the grand opening day, reflected their enthusiasm for Indian cuisine in Marshfield.

Al Madinah Cuisine offers a diverse menu that showcases the essence of Hyderabad’s culinary excellence. Signature dishes include the rich and spicy Special Hyderabadi Talawa Gosht, the tantalizing heat of Chicken 65, and the creamy goodness of Butter Chicken. Currently renting space, Ahmed envisions a larger restaurant with an integrated Indian grocery section.

Chef Syed’s biggest strength is his family, especially his three children back in India. Despite being separated for the past four years, they eagerly await the opportunity to join him in Marshfield and contribute to the journey of Al Madinah Cuisine.
