The first half saw a close defensive battle with a tied game of 12 a piece at the break. In the second half it stayed close, as the score at the 12:14 mark was 16-15 in favor of the Eagles. Almond-Bancroft then went on a 7-0 run over the next 6 minutes to lead 23-15 at about the 6 minute mark. The Eagles held the Blackhawks to just 6 points in the second half as they scored 19 to win the game 31-18.
Riley Stiles of Almond-Bancroft led all scorers with 8 while teammates Mikala Seymour and Carlee Lamb chipped in 7 and 6 points respectively. Nakita Borths led the Blackhawks with 6 as Taylor Martin and Alliyah Ruiz each added 5.
