Submitted to OnFocus – Altrusa Club of Marshfield recently awarded $3000 ($500 each) to six community organizations. The organizations include the libraries in Pittsville, Arpin and Vesper, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Marshfield Area Respite Center, and Special Olympics. Thank you to all who support our fundraising efforts, allowing us to serve surrounding communities.
Altrusa Club of Marshfield members will be donating food the first meeting of each month for United Way NOW program. Additionally, a number of our members have also committed to delivering these food bags/boxes to homes throughout the Marshfield area. There is hunger in our midst; join us in helping community organizations.
Altrusa Club of Marshfield has a new meeting home for their 2020-2021 year. Thank you to Melody Gardens Restaurant and Skateland for allowing us use of their sparkly skating rink viewing area to socially distance, and enjoy excellent food and service. We sure appreciate being in safe and lovely surroundings.
