A number of challenges were posed by the Amazing Race, which took place at about ten locations. Challenges included catching fish, tractor tire flipping, mini golfing or driving a certain number of yards, achieving strikes in bowling, an obstacle course in Griese park, pie eating, and finding a costume.

“It was once started many years ago and just recently came back as an item,” said Jennifer Brock, planning committee member.

Wheelers GMC donated four vehicles for the teams to use to get from location to location. Whoever finished first won the Amazing Race – this year the “Blue” team, said Brock.
