Amherst Football Wins Thriller over Weyauwega-Fremont on Game’s Final Play

Michael Glodowski connected with Cannen Hodges on the game’s final play to give Amherst a 21-15 Win over Weyauwega-Fremont. The Falcons were lined up to attempt a game-winning 38 Field goal only to see Glodowski connect with Hodges for the game-winning score.

Three touchdowns in the final four minutes concluded a back and forth CWC-Large battle between the long-time foes.

Glodowski’s touchdown run with four minutes remaining put Amherst on top, 19-15 but W-F came right back to take the lead, as Cameron Zielke scored with  a minute to go.

The Falcons then marched down the field in quick fashion. Hodges grab of a tipped ball in the end zone as time expired concluded a wild fourth quarter.
