28 foot Eiffel Tower Welcomed Guests
“An Evening in Paris” took place on the eve of Mother’s Day in Marshfield. Those entering the event did so by passing under a 28 foot Eiffel Tower that was handcrafted for the mother and son event.
Marshfield’s very own mother and son event was held benefiting The Hannah Center Saturday night at Hotel Marshfield. The Hannah Center, a nonprofit without government funding, works with women to learn life skills and work through tough times so that she can move forward with confidence.
“It was a night to remember! An Evening in Paris was a magical night for Mom and Son’s, lots of dancing, fun and memories,” said organizer Patty Hasenbank. “The 28 Ft. Eiffel Tower lit up Marshfield with many spectators coming by for pictures!
Hasenbank said, “It’s a special night for moms to enjoy themselves. If you think about it, how many times do you go and take your mom out?”
Last year’s inaugural event was red carpet-style and drew ninety-five people to Hotel Marshfield. Based on the concept of successful father/daughter events, it created an opportunity for mothers to go out in the evening during Mother’s Day weekend.
The event took place at Hotel Marshfield from 5:30-9 p.m. on Saturday, May 12.
