Electrical Issue Being Addressed by Contractor
MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Popular sandwich chain Jimmy John’s is still coming to Marshfield, after significant delays.
Originally slated to open its doors in January 2023, the highly anticipated launch of Jimmy John’s in Marshfield faced a setback due to an electrical issue. However, the management team and contractor have been working to address the situation.
Inspectors at the City of Marshfield conduct inspections of newly constructed and existing buildings and their component plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems. This process is accomplished by the inspector through regulation and control of the design, construction, quality of materials, use and/or occupancy, location and maintenance of all buildings, structures and related equipment throughout the city.
City Administrator Steve Barg provided an update on Jimmy John’s progress in Marshfield, stating, “There was an electrical issue potentially holding things up, but I understand that is now being addressed by the contractor, and hopefully, they will be able to open soon.”
