Marshfield CVB Announces Maple Fall Fest Cancelled

Marshfield (OnFocus) The Visit Marshfield Board of Directors and Maple Fall Fest Committee made the announcement on Monday that Marshfield’s annual Maple Fall Fest, previously scheduled for September 19th & 20th, 2020 at Wildwood Park in Marshfield, has been canceled.

The decision was made after consulting with many partners, including vendors, potential attendees, the City of Marshfield, and the Wood County Health Department. In a statement posted on their website, they said, “We believe that this is the best decision for the safety of our vendors, attendees, and the overall community. With all the uncertainty and the specific timelines of festival planning, vital operational partnerships, and volunteer services, we needed to make this announcement now.”

The annual fall fest typically features over 150 vendors featuring handmade arts and crafts, maple syrup, festival foods, entertainment offerings, and with an estimated attendance of 10,000 to 15,000 people over two days.

The Convention and Visitor Board said to look forward to a bigger and better than ever event in September of 2021.
