Claire’s Store Closing August 20
MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Marshfield’s Claire’s store located in Marshfield Mall is scheduled to close August 20, 2022, with no immediate plans for relocation according to a store representative. (At this time, the corporate office is not closing.)
With the short announcement of the closure, there was not time to secure a new location at this time. Bath & Body Works is also closed.
Marshfield Mall opened as “Northway Mall” in November 1979, with 36 stores including B. Dalton Bookseller, JCPenney, K Mart, Wickersham Jewelry, Ye Olde Pastry Shoppe, Regis Beauty Salon, Rainbow Tree, and RadioShack.
Since then, the mall has seen periods of decline and growth. The additions of Kohl’s and Harbor Freight breathed new life into the facility in recent years.
Ned Brickman, president of Midland Management, previously presented plans for Marshfield Mall’s future, with another brief update being given in May (but no new tenant names given officially).
