A few thoughts.  First, this was my first meet as a head coach and I couldn’t be prouder of how the athletes competed.  This is a special group of young men and women, both personally and professionally.  Kudo’s to the women.  They haven’t had enough runners to place in quite a few years so finishing 5th overall as a team and Lillian placing first overall was awesome, especially on her birthday.  On the boys side, we had a few injuries but regardless, they still did very well.  This is the first year for 5 out of our 10 runners.  – Antigo Cross Country Head Coach Dan Bastle
