WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI (OnFocus) – The Wisconsin Rapids Aqua Skiers Show Team is preparing to officially kick off their 2022 season on Sunday, Jan. 23.
The team will be hosting their first indoor land practice on at St. Luke’s Church in Wisconsin Rapids from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. During indoor land practice the team will be working together to teach and practice climbing pyramids, strap doubles, trios, conventional doubles, and learning new dances.
This year the team is focusing on recruitment and encourages anyone with an interest in waterskiing, driving boat, and announcing to consider joining the team. No experience is needed and all ages and skill levels are welcome.
The team has certified water ski teachers and well-seasoned veterans to help new members learn new skills. Show Director, Tricia Klein started water skiing on the team with her family when she was a child and is excited to share this experience and make new life long memories with her husband and daughter on the team.
