STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The Aspirus Stevens Point Campus is open and safe. This includes the clinic, walk-in clinic, emergency room and inpatient hospital unit.

All patients who had their appointments, procedures and surgeries postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic are now able to have their care rescheduled.

“We are committed to providing excellent and safe care to our patients,” said Bob Smith, Vice President of Aspirus Stevens Point Campus. “Everyone who enters our building is screened at the entrance. This includes having their temperature checked and answering a few questions about symptoms and potential exposure to the virus. Each person is asked to bring a face mask or one will be provided to you to wear the entire time they are in the building. In addition, our waiting areas are clean and spacious enough to allow for proper social distancing.”

Aspirus has been working closely with its health care providers to resume appointments, procedures and surgeries in a gradual and safe manner. In doing so, Aspirus is closely monitoring its inventory of important supplies and is following guidelines from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and public health agencies.

“We have already contacted many patients who had appointments postponed due to COVID-19,” said Smith. “We are also encouraging anyone with health concerns to call us for an appointment or to come into our walk-in or emergency room. Please do not risk your health by waiting.” Appointments can be offered in person, over the phone, or via videoconferencing where appropriate.

The Aspirus Stevens Point Campus is located at 5409 Vern Holmes Drive. For a clinic appointment, please call 715.344.1600. The walk-in clinic is open weekdays from 7 am to 7 pm, weekends from 8 am to 4 pm, and holidays from 8 am to 1 pm. The emergency room and inpatient hospital unit are always open.

If you believe you have COVID-19 symptoms, please call the Aspirus COVID-19 Call Center at 1-844-568-0701 weekdays from 7 am to 7 pm and weekends from 8 am to 5 pm. The Call Center will direct you to the proper location for testing and treatment, helping to prevent the spread of the virus.
