Miller to Join Aspirus Team, Provide Mental Health Care

Submitted to OnFocus – WISCONSIN RAPIDS Aspirus Riverview Behavioral Health in Wisconsin Rapids welcomes Deborah Miller, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, APNP.

Miller is a board-certified psychiatric mental health clinical nurse practitioner and advanced practice nurse prescriber. She joins Aspirus Riverview Behavioral Health’s other behavioral health professionals to help meet our area’s growing need for mental health and substance abuse services. Miller takes a special interest in mood disorders and anxiety disorders.

“I strive to provide compassionate and personalized care,” said Miller. “I want my patients to feel empowered enough to make their own healthcare decisions.”

Miller earned post-master’s degrees as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, and as a family nurse practitioner from Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa. She also holds a master’s degree in nursing/nursing education from the University of Phoenix, and a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Viterbo University in La Crosse.

Miller is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and family nurse practitioner and is licensed as a registered nurse and advanced practice nurse prescriber. In her leisure time, Miller enjoys reading, crafting, camping and cooking. She also enjoys spending time with her family, cats and grand-dogs.
