It will be interesting to see when the dust settles. With Pacelli and Iola-Scandinavia graduating a lot of players and us only graduating 3, I am excited about our chances!
Keys to your success on offense
If we don’t turn the ball over and have no mental errors, we should be able to move the ball.
Keys to your success on defense
Win 1st and 3rd down, get at least 2 turn overs per game, play fast, and don’t give up big plays.
Behind the scenes: Who are some of the people that help your program succeed?
First off, our AD, Joe Birkhauser, does a great job behind the scenes getting things done. People like Linda Schill, the Swendrowski family, my assistant coaches, our parents, local businesses helping with our fundraising, and especially my wife (for dealing with me) truly help our program succeed.
What is your football program all about? How do you measure success?
Our football program is about character and becoming a man. We use phrases such as “Legacy Starts Here” and “Make Your Mark.” As a player, who are you going to be remembered as? Someone who was lazy and got in trouble or someone who does things right and helps others? We want our young men to be successful in the future by using the positive things they have learned over the years in football. So many wonderful life lessons can be taught and observed in football!
