Assumption scored two runs in each of the final two innings and escaped with a hard-fought 4-2 win over Edgar in Marawood Conference softball.
Edgar took a 2-0 lead in the top of the first, followed by Assumption scoring twice in the bottom half of the inning and then in the 7th inning to win.
The Royals had 7 hits on the game, with Edgar netting two hits, including a double from Makayla Wirkus.
