Wisconsin Rapids Assumption rolled up all 404 yards of its offense on the ground and defeated Athens 46-22 on Friday night.
Cole Statz had a big night for the Royals with 245 yards rushing on just eight carries. He ran for touchdowns of 55, 66, 49 and 53 yards. Aden Elsen rushed 10 times for 97 yards and Craig Elson had nine carries for 62 yards. For Athens, Jordan Decker picked up 92 yards on 21 rushing attempts.
