Athens Gets Come From Behind Win over Edgar in 5 set match

Athens (OnFocus) – Dropping the first two sets didn’t make the Athens Blue Jays’ Marawood match with Edgar an easy one to win, but Athens fought back to pick up a thrilling 3-2 win Thursday,  in Marawood volleyball. Athens dropped the first two by scores of 25-15 and 25-19, before storming back with 27-25, 25-17, and 15-12.

Athens came up big on defense, collecting 79 digs, led by Grace Johnson’s 25.

Shauna Belter had 17 kills and 2 blocks.

Addison Lavicka had 17 assists and 3 aces, with Jazelle Hartwig adding 14 assists.
