The Redmen controlled in Game 1, picking up an 11-2 win.
Kyler Ellenbecker and Brooks Kraus had two hits apiece for Athens.
Kraus took the loss.
Cooper Diedrich pitched a complete game win for Athens in game 2, giving up one hit and walking three, while striking out 8 batters.
