Athens (OnFocus) – Athens downed Pacelli in nonconference action, 44-35.
Dayne Diethelm led Athens with a five touchdown performance, scoring on runs of 8, 3, 1, 9, and 1 yards.
Pacellis’ Brycen Cashin added four touchdowns, with runs of 16, 1, 25, and 15 yards.
The game was an offensive outpouring, much of it on the ground. Athens piled up 350 total yards of offense, 264 on the ground.
Pacelli had 341 yards of offense, rushing for 235.
