Athens (OnFocus) – Athens took care of Ashland in nonconference volleyball action, winning the match 3-0, with scores of 25-23, 25-23, 25-15.
The Blue Jays’ defense came up big, collecting 43 digs, led by Siarra Hart with 9. Shauna Belter and Celina Ellenbecker each added 7 digs.
Helping out on defense was Addison Lavicka, who picked up 3 blocks.
Shauna Belter had 7 kills to lead Athens, with Lavicka leading the team with 7 assists.
