WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Cooper Weinfurter and Colton Wright combined for five 3-pointers and 17 rebounds, and each scored 16 points to help the Auburndale boys basketball team to a blowout win over Wisconsin Rapids Assumption, 69-38, at Assumption High School on Friday night.
Weinfurter had three 3-pointers, 10 rebounds, and five assists to go with his 16 points, and Wright hit two 3-pointers, had seven rebounds and six assists, and also had 16 points for the Apaches (3-1, 3-0 Marawood Conference South Division).
Carter Wilcott and Aaron Marth each added nine points for Auburndale, which had 10 different players score in the victory.
Cameron Kopacz had 11 points and Nick Smits chipped in 10 for Assumption (1-4, 1-2 Marawood South).
Auburndale is off until next Friday when it plays at Abbotsford in a Marawood crossover game.
