PARK FALLS – The Auburndale boys basketball team was clicking on all cylinders on Friday night as it blasted Chequamegon 91-44 in a Marawood Conference crossover game at Chequamegon High School.
The Apaches put up 57 points in the first half, cruising out to a 36-point lead by intermission.
Hunter Wright made 10 of 11 shots from the field and scored a team-high 23 points for Auburndale.
Colton Wright made four 3-pointers and added 15 points, and Cater Wilcott chipped in 10 points in the victory for the Apaches.
Auburndale is now 12-2 overall and 9-1 in the Marawood South. The Apaches’ next game is Tuesday at home against Wisconsin Rapids Assumption.
