AUBURNDALE – Auburndale made 15 3-pointers and had 10 different players hit the scoring column in a 79-44 rout of Port Edwards in a nonconference boys basketball game Monday night at Auburndale High School.
Auburndale raced out to a 43-21 lead by halftime and won going away.
The Apaches extend their winning streak to seven and are now 17-2 this season. Port Edwards drops to 9-10.
Colton Wright made six of the Apaches’ 15 3-pointers and had a game-high 24 points. Cooper Weinfurter added 15 points, making six of seven from the free-throw line.
Auburndale’s next game is Friday at Edgar.
