Nearly 1000 voters came out to support the area’s top athletes for the September 4 to September 10.
The voting came to a tight battle at the top, with just 12 votes separating the top two places.
Auburndale Football’s Trayton Weber won the tile as OnFocus Athlete of the Week, September 4 to September 10, collecting 257 votes.
Taking second place was Christian Fuentes of Abbotsford Football with 245 votes.

OnFocus Athlete of the Week, September 4 – September 10
- Nick Leberg, Assumption Football – Leberg had quite the night for the Royals in their 51-20 win over Marathon. Leberg rushed for 243 yards on 31 carries, and had touchdown runs of 7, 5o, 4, 25 and 9 yards.
- Koehler Kilty, Stratford Football – Kilty rushed for 243 yards on 30 carries and a touchdown in Stratford’s 21-7 win over Shiocton.
- Trayton Weber, Auburndale Football – Weber had touchdown runs of 3 and 60 yards, and threw for touchdowns of 70 and 30 yards as Auburndale defeated Hurley 29-8. Weber completed 8 of 14 passes for 214 yards and had 14 carries for 143 yards.
- Christian Fuentes, Abbotsford Football – The freshman had 373 yards rushing on just 12 carries and had five touchdowns in the Falcons’ 63-27 win over Iola-Scandinavia.
- Leo Brostowitz, Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln Football – Brostowitz had 306 yards rushing on 32 carries, collecting touchdown runs of 24 and 4 yards in the Red Raiders’ 34-21 win over Stevens Point.
