Four local athletes were named to the D5 All-State Team by the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association.
Pacelli sophmore Jaydon Awe averaged 17.4 points and 16 rebounds per game leading the Cardinals to a sectional semifinal berth.
McDonell Central senior, and UW-Superior committ, Eddie Mittermeyer averaged 20.9 points whitee shooting 42.9% from behind the arc helping the Macs to a state runnerup finish.
Almond-Bancroft sophmore Ayden Phillips averaged 19.7 points and 10.5 rebounds per game leading the Eagles to a regional semifinal.
Newman Catholic junior Mason Prey averaged 22.8 points and 4.4 assists per game on the Cardinals way to a Division 5 State Title.
Local Athletes on the Honorable Mention list inlcude; Nathan Gibbs of Port Edwards, Canan Huss of McDonll Central, Aiden Janke of Athens, Emmitt Konieczny of Columbus Catholic, Conner Krach of Newman Catholic, and Isaac Seidel of Newman Catholic.
