Baked or Fried? Pacelli Cardinals Softball Coach Ann Molski Answers all the Questions

Legendary Pacelli Softball Coach Ann Molski is well known as the standout softball coach for the Cardinals, and we caught up with Molski with our world-famous interview, Baked or Fried? to get a better understanding of what makes Molski ‘tick.’

OnFocus: What sports did you play in high school? 

 Molski: I played basketball and softball in High school 

OnFocus: How do amateur sports benefit students, parents, and the community? 

  Molski:Amateur sports help bring the community together.  Sports help build the community and family in the sport and school. 

OnFocus: How have you been involved in sports in your adult life?   

Molski: I played rec. Volleyball and Slow Pitch softball for many years in Stevens Point and Marshfield.

 OnFocus:  What do you enjoy about your involvement in athletics?  

Molski: I enjoy working with the girls and passing my love of the game to them.

 OnFocus: If there could only be one concession food in the world, what would you want it to be? 

Molski: Grilled Brats with sauerkraut 

OnFocus: What would you do with the money if you won 10 millions dollars in the lottery? 

Molski: Set up a fund to help children, build an indoor/outdoor facility for the community, help family and friends. 

OnFocus: Is there something most people don’t know about you? 

Molski: I was a member of the Youth Advisory Council for the Wisconsin Farmer’s Union when I was 18.  I spoke at the National Conventions in Fort Wayne, Texas.

OnFocus: What job did you want when you were growing up?

Molski: I wanted to be a Marine Biologist

OnFocus: What do you most enjoy watching on television?

Molski: Rom-Coms and Documentaries

OnFocus: How do amateur sports benefit students, parents, and the community?

OnFocus: Who was an influential coach who made a difference in your life?  

Molski: I didn’t have one personally as a player.    I admired Pat Summit from Tennessee as a coach.

 OnFocus: How do you unwind and enjoy your free time? 

Molski: Gardening, bike riding, reading, and coffee with friends 

OnFocus: What would be an appropriate Super Hero nickname for you, and what would your powers be? 

Molski: No Idea!!   

OnFocus: Who are your favorite athletes?  

Molski: Ann Meyers, Michael Jordan, Dot Richarson

OnFocus: Who is your role model(s)?  

Molski: Growing up it was my parents, and as an adult I have various friends.

OnFocus: Baked or Fried? If you could pick only one, which would it be?  

Molski: Baked/Grilled….  🙂
