Ben Barten wins Lineman of the Year, Coach Jason Tubbs Wins Coach of the Year

Ben Barten was selected as the Lineman of the year and Coach Jason Tubbs was selected as coach of the year as the Marawood Conference releases its end of season awards.

17 Stratford Tigers made it on All-Conference teams for this season while 14 Auburndale Apaches were selected.

Stratford’s selections include Ben Barten, who was unanimously selected to the first team for both Offensive and Defensive Line. Unanimous selections for Stratford also include tight end Vaughn Breit, receiver Chase Flink, offensive lineman Easton Kilty, running back Matt Handrick, defensive end Jakob Mikelson, inside linebacker Justin Schoenherr, and defensive back Teddy Redman.

Auburndale unanimous selections include quarterback Cooper Weinfurter, who was also selected to the first-team defense as a defensive back, plus receiver Hunter Wright, running back Kyle Peterson, who was also selected to the second-team defense as an end, and outside linebacker Brent Lau.

Other Tigers on the first team include offensive lineman Dawson Moen and inside linebacker Trevor Dennee.

Other Apaches on the first team include offensive lineman Cody Trowbridge, who was also selected on the second-team defense as an inside linebacker.

2nd Team selections for the Tigers include quarterback Max Schwabe and fullback Beau Gross. Apache selections include receiver Paul Kollross  and defensive lineman Austin Low.

Stratford Tiger selections to the honorable mention list include Devin Dennee at running back, Colton Schillinger at outside linebacker, Chandler Schmitt at defensive back and Justin Radke at tight end.

Auburndale selections to the honorable mention list include offensive linemen Jesse Fowler and Seth Low, defensive back Hunter Godard, and wide receiver Fletcher Raab.
