Bicknase and Bowling Lead the Way, SPASH Boys Get Big Win over Eau Claire Alliance

Stevens Point, WI – The SPASH Boys Swim Team hosted a non-conference dual meet tonight against the Eau Claire Alliance (Memorial/North). This meet was a head to head of some of the top teams in the WIAA sectional that will be taking place later in February. At the break, Eau Claire held a slight advantage but with a strong second half SPASH won 97 – 73. SPASH was led by Captains Landon Bicknase and Henry Bowling who each had two individual wins.

Senior Landon Bicknase won the 200 IM and 100 Breaststroke. Junior Henry Bowling won the 50 freestyle and 500 freestyle. Sophomore Tony Raczek also had two individual wins in the 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke. Junior Mason Soik brought home the other individual win in the 100 butterfly. Next up for SPASH is their final home meet of the year on Thursday night against Wisconsin Rapids. This will close out the Wisconsin Valley Conference dual meet season in preparation for next week’s championship meet. Thursday night will also be Parents/Senior Night for the team.
