MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – An adoption event will take place at Pet Supplies Plus on Saturday, January 29 from 10:00am-2:00pm. Join for some fun and to meet adoptable dogs from the rescue, as well as to learn more about the nonprofit group.
“We’re excited for this event because one of our goals at Pet Supplies Plus is to partner with local rescues and help them find great homes for their adoptable pets,” said Team Leader Kim Crawford. “People can learn more about these groups and maybe even add a furry friend to their family if the time is right.”
Those who visit on Saturday will also have the opportunity to take advantage of special in-store deals.
“Those adopting are also able to pick up all of their essential items to make their pet comfortable,” said Crawford. “Our New Pet Checklist is also very helpful.”
Biggie Paws Rescue (BPR), located in Salem, WI, is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to reducing the homeless pet overpopulation. As more families struggle with financial hardships due to the COVID pandemic, more and more animals are being surrendered or simply abandoned. Biggie Paws Rescue was founded in 2020 to meet the increased growing needs of homeless pets.
