Wisconsin Rapids (OnFocus) – You can save a life by donating blood at a community blood drive.
Blood drives will be held in the former East Junior High School Fieldhouse at 311 Lincoln Street in Wisconsin Rapids on Tuesday, August 18, from 10 am to 3 pm and Monday, August 24, from 2 to 7 pm. No appointment is needed.
Anyone with questions regarding their blood donation eligibility is encouraged to call the Blood Center of Northcentral Wisconsin’s toll-free number at 866-566-5900.
People with medical conditions, are taking any medications, or have had piercings in the last 12 months are asked to call the toll-free number before attending a blood drive to find out if they are eligible to donate.
