Bonduel Boys Basketball Voted OnFocus Team of the Week, March 2 – March 15
The Bonduel Boys Bears Basketball Team picked up the title of OnFocus Team of the Week, March 2 – March 15, collecting 549 votes.
Rib Lake Boys Basketball earned an impressive 231 votes to take second place.
Finishing in third place was Auburndale Boys Basketball with 172 votes.
Owen-Withee Girls Basketball took fourth place with 138 votes. Almond-Bancroft Boys Basketball finished in fifth place with 71 votes.
OnFocus Team of the Week, March 2 – March 15
- Owen-Withee Girls Basketball – The Owen-Withee Girls Basketball Team punched their ticket to a state berth before falling to Assumption in a state semifinal, 61-36.
- Bonduel Boys Basketball – Bonduel punched their ticket to state, defeating Auburndale 56-44 in a sectional final Saturday afternoon.
- Rib Lake Boys Basketball (nominated online)– Rib Lake impressed enroute to a sectional final matchup with Turtle Lake before bowing out to the #1 seed, 53-45.
- Almond-Bancroft Boys Basketball (nominated online) – Almond-Bancroft advanced to a sectional final before falling to sectional champion Sheboygan Lutheran 67-37.
- Auburndale Boys Basketball – Auburndale in an impressive run in the boys basketball playoffs. The Eagles downed Colby 70-63 in overtime before picking up wins over Marawood foes Marathon(51-49) and Stratford(62-49). Auburndale then saw its season end at the hands of once-beaten Bonduel(56-44) in the sectional final.
