WESTON – Carly Brickley earned Marshfield’s lone win, taking first in the 100 meters, and the Tigers went on to finish second at the D.C. Everest Girls Track Quadrangular on Monday at Stiehm Stadium.
Brickley won the 100 in 13.44 seconds for the Tigers’ only event victory.
Marshfield did have a number of second-place finishes, including Kaydee Johnson in the 200 meters (28.26) and triple jump (32-8¼), Eliana Kanitz in the 3,200 (12:49.90), Gracie Holland in the long jump (15-8½), Lindsey Steffen in the high jump (4-6), and the 800 relay team of Brooke McGrath, Alexis Daul, Alani Carter and Sophie Nikolay (1:59.16).
D.C. Everest won the team title with 397 points, with Marshfield taking second with 360½ points.
Marshfield will head back to D.C. Everest for the Wisconsin Valley Conference True Team Meet on April 30.
