Broncos Make a Splash, Trading for Seahawks QB and Badger Alum Russell Wilson

Shortly after news broke that quarterback Aaron Rodgers was committing to the Green Bay Packers moving forward, the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks agreed to a blockbuster trade.

The Broncos axquired Seattle quarterback and Wisconsin Badgers’ alum Russell Wilson for package of draft picks and players:

  • two first-round picks
  • two second-round picks
  • a fifth-rounder, QB Drew Lock, defensive tackle Shelby Harris and tight end Noah Fant in exchange for Wilson and a fourth-rounder.
