Shortly after news broke that quarterback Aaron Rodgers was committing to the Green Bay Packers moving forward, the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks agreed to a blockbuster trade.
The Broncos axquired Seattle quarterback and Wisconsin Badgers’ alum Russell Wilson for package of draft picks and players:
- two first-round picks
- two second-round picks
- a fifth-rounder, QB Drew Lock, defensive tackle Shelby Harris and tight end Noah Fant in exchange for Wilson and a fourth-rounder.
