MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Boy Scouts of America Troop 382 in Marshfield is taking action to fight hunger in the community by organizing a food drive to benefit the Soup or Socks food pantry. The troop is collecting non-perishable food items through April 11 and is inviting the public to participate by donating at several convenient drop-off locations.

Community members can bring their donations during regular business hours to the following participating partners:

  • Faith Lutheran Church
  • Forward Bank
  • Mapleleaf Dental
  • 2nd Street Community Center
  • Absolute Health Chiropractic

The Scouts are encouraging residents to contribute canned goods, boxed meals, and other shelf-stable items to help fill collection boxes and support families in need. All donated goods will be delivered to the Soup or Socks pantry, which serves individuals and families throughout the Marshfield area.

For those who wish to help, there’s still time to get involved. Donations will be accepted until Thursday, April 11, 2025.
